What  is  a  Homecoming  Mum?

  •  Homecoming Mums are a Texas tradition that date back to the 1930’s and as far back as the 1910’s in Missouri. Over the years Mums have gotten bigger and even expanded to other parts of the U.S. The tradition is that the bigger the mum, the more loved you are by the one who gave it to you. Males wear the mum garter and the ladies wear the pinned mums. 

Can  I  make  my  own  Cheaper?

  • That honestly depends. Note from the owner: The average customer can easily spend upwards of $90 or more on supplies at the local craft store and another 3-5 hours making it, and that's a very basic mum. We buy direct from the manufacturer and buy in bulk and we pass these savings on to our customers.

Will  i  get  photo  updates  during  the  process?

  • No Photos Please –  If you are nervous or VERY VERY particular about your order it’s best to call us and request an appointment to talk about your mum before ordering.  We can do this in person, via phone or video conference. Once your order is place we will reach out to confirm the details and ask any follow up questions. We will work with you on your mum order until you’re happy that we understand your vision. But please do not ask us to send you photos of your product in process. This takes a lot of time for the amount of orders we handle. It sounds simple to snap a photo and send it to your phone, but this can lead to an hour long text session about what is being done. Think of it like a sonogram before the baby comes, it’s nice but you don’t really see what you’re getting till it’s arrives. Like most things that are ordered, it’s better to trust the company you hire.  However, sometimes it is necessary for us to send pictures of various extras you may have added to your order for clarification.

 Can  i  place  my  order  in  person?

  •  Absolutely!  We can meet with you in person and work with you to design something spectacular.   Both in person & video conference appointments include samples of bling, braids, plush and various extras.  In person orders can be paid with CASH, credit cards, venmo, cashapp & zelle. We can also email you an invoice that can be paid online however you choose.  If you are ordering directly from the website and need a payment plan please reach out before ordering.

HOW  WILL  MY  ORDER  BE  SHIPPED? 

  • Whether we’re shipping to you across the state or across the country, we will ship the same way! So how do we ship, the simple answer is FLAT! Your mum is laid out flat it’s own box and secured so it will not move during shipping. This way you get it the way we made it. No folding! We make our mums out of satin, they don’t crease like acetate would. All orders ship either USPS  Priority, Fed Ex or UPS with insurance.  

can  i   pay  for  my  order  when  i  pick up?

  • Orders must be paid in full before pickup/shipping.  If you need more time to pay for your order please contact us first about our payment plan options.  Orders placed within 2 weeks of your date must be paid in full before work can begin on your order.  

Can  i cancel  my  order  or  get  a  refund?

  • If you pre registered for a spot your $25 fee can be refunded up to 6 weeks before your Homecoming date.  If you purchased a mum you have 24hrs to cancel your order without penalty. Cancelations within 6 weeks of your Homecoming Date will be handled on a case by case basis. Due to the custom nature of Homecoming Mums once your order is place work begins immediately and we can not always offer a refund for canceled orders. 

what  happens  if  something  i  ordered  is  out  of  stock?

  • This rarely happens because of our close relationship with our manufacturers. However if a product is back ordered or out of stock we will substitute a product that is an upgrade from the product that you ordered. We feel it’s our fault if we don’t have something you ordered, so if we have something better we’ll automatically use it. If we can’t substitute an item, we will contact you.

i  need  a  mum  this  week - can   you  help?

  • Sometimes we can.  We keep several pre made options in stock. Please contact us directly to see if we can help you. (rush fees may apply)  

My  date  and  i  broke  up -  can  i change my order?

  • There are many fish in the sea!  And rest assured, we can fix the order for you. Contact us immediately so we can make the change . If your order has shipped. We can no longer change your order BUT, you’re welcome to take the scissors and chop their ribbon off!

what  payment  methods  do  you  accept?

       All major credit cards, square or paypal invoices.  We also accept venmo, cashapp & zelle if needed.  CAN  I  SEE  YOUR  MUMS IN  PERSON  BEFORE           ORDERING?  You sure can. We are located in central Texas. We are happy to setup an appointment to meet with you or schedule a video conference to show you       examples.

WHAT  IF  IM  NOT  HAPPY  WITH  MY ORDER? 

       We do our very best to make each mum a unique masterpiece! If for some reason you are not happy with it please let us know right away.
